WEEK 2 - ART ACTIVITY - Landscapes with a Corpse

I began this activity by doing a watercolor painting of blood. I felt like blood was a good theme because it is often associated with death. This is the first time I have used watercolor paints as a medium. I had a really good time trying to create my "blood".
I laid a white towel down with my painting. My wife was the photographer. She helped me position my head and the painting. I am not much of an actor, but I tried to imitate a corpse. This was a fun activity, but way outside of my comfort zone.
In a classroom setting the subject of death may sound grim and inappropriate. However, I think the subject of death should be explored in a college class. It is a natural part of life, and I see no reason why it should not be discussed.
